Will the test show if my dog has allergies?

Checkpup does not specifically test for allergies or stomach sensitivity. Instead, we look to identify precursors or etiologies to clinical symptoms or illnesses. What does this mean? We take a whole-body approach and try to uncover the root cause of why your dog may be dealing with stomach sensitivity in the first place. It could be completely unrelated to your dog’s stomach or digestive system. The body is a complex system and everything is interconnected. The only way to learn is to test !

My dog has short hair, how much hair do you need?

Our lab needs 125mg of hair (usually about a full teaspoon, depending on the density of the hair), to process the sample. For some short-haired dogs, the amount of hair collected may be quite noticeable for a short period of time.
